A passion for the gathering

I’m Nadia Botha, and like many of you, my love for Magic: The Gathering started around a kitchen table with my spouse and friends. Based in Gauteng for the last 11 years, I’ve spent the better part of my career—over 6 years—immersed in the fast-paced world of E-Commerce. I consider myself a 'jack of all trades' in the digital space, but my true passion lies where gaming meets sustainability.

I’ve always been a firm believer in the power of repurposing. Whether it’s in my home or my hobby, I’m naturally thrifty. I believe that a card shouldn't sit in a box gathering dust just because you've moved on to a new deck—it should be traded, repurposed, and played.

Combining my passions for gaming and E-commerce.

MTG Tradepost isn’t just a website; it’s the beginning of a dream. Launched in January 2026, this fledgling business was born from a desire to turn my passion for E-Commerce and gaming into a full-time reality. 

I wanted to create a platform that I actually wanted to use, and focuses on what matters: the players and their collections.

Our goal is to create a sustainable, high-trust circle where South African players can refresh their decks without the heavy 'commission tax' of traditional marketplaces. By keeping it lean and community-focused, we ensure the value stays in your hands.
